AllHipHop followed Dave East around for a day and it was lit!

(AllHipHop Features) Dave East’s latest opus Survival is here via and is already being heralded as one of the Harlem rapper’s best works. In his local Harlem, East remains a fixture that continues to meld traditional New York sentiments as well as newer, more commercial vibes too. 

The fans digitally devoured the album as he promoted it and AllHipHop was present and accounted for as the East hit New York City. During the run, he talked to us in between stops at Hot 97, ESPN and the Magic Johnson theater in Harlem. On top of is all, this mini-documentary gets close to East as he re-connects with his close friends like Nessa and most importantly the fans

Dave East has gained added exposure for his dramatic portrayal of Method Man in Wu-Tang: An American Saga, the 10-episode HULU mini-series that pre­miered in September. A fic­tion­alized drama, An American Saga was created by Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA and Alex Tse(Watchmen, Superfly 2018). Executive producers include Brian Grazer and Method Man. With the release of today, the 14-day countdown is on to the November 22 opening of the Dave East Survival Tour Part 1, at the Masquerade in Atlanta. Tickets are selling-out quickly for the first leg of shows in the U.S., before the tour moves to the UK and Europe in December. (Please see tour dates below.)

follows up ‘Survival Pacc,’ Dave East’s two-song summer EP, which comprised “Wanna be a G” featuring Max B, and “Everyday” featuring Gunna (both tracks included on the album).
