Ish has officially hit the fan! Rapper Juvenile has put all his cards out on the table and has decided to speak out against his former label Cash Money. In a recent interview with Complex, Juvenile reveals that he believes Lil’ Wayne was “afraid” of leaving Cash Money, and he was surprised when Wayne resigned with Cash Money and essentially “got beat” out of his own money. Check out a few notable quotes from the interview below: “When Wayne was trying to leave Cash Money [in the mid 2000s], same thing. He was trying to find out how did I leave, what did I do, he wanted to see my paperwork. I was like you can see it, but you’re gonna have to pay me for it now because now I know you ain’t with me. You’re own your own because I’m definitely on my own. If you want the paperwork and help from my end, I need to be compensated for it. [He never paid for it].” “Still up to the day, Wayne really got beat out of all his money and took another contract. That’s part I never understood. Some young director just got the attention of the whole world, and it was all just a cruel joke. Late last week, a video surfaced online that was posted to the YouTube page of director Austin Christianson. The video was entitled “Kanye West Presents Cruel Winter” and had a “Copyright DONDA” inscription under the descriptions, so naturally we all thought this was an official sneak peek trailer from Yeezy. I should have known when I googled Kanye West and the director’s name and nothing came up. Well, Fuse caught up with said director, and he basically admitted that the video was being pitched and Yeezy had nothing to do with putting it together. Check out what he said below: “Without getting into many details, I will say that the trailer was independently made and the video is essentially a concept trailer. It’s used for pitching an idea and/or concept to a client. With that said, the video was being used for pitching purposes and it’s naturally intended only for the client to see.” When pressed about whether or not Kanye has even seen the video, which features a narration from former President George H. W. Bush, the director said, “I can’t tell you any more than what’s already out there.” Which basically means ‘no, Kanye has never seen this video, but hopefully he has seen it now and he will offer me a job.’ Do you think Kanye should hire this guy? I mean the video is very “Kanye-ish” and had that Illuminati undertone to it, which all of the rap stars love these days. I think it needed more demonic imagery, though….I’m being sarcastic. Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Meek Mill Going To Battle Cassidy On Pay-Per-View?

Everyone knows that Philly has one of the best battle rap scenes in the nation. One of the biggest rappers in the nation right now, Meek Mill, recently did an interview with our homie, journalist Shaheem Reid, where he talks about the art of battling and he goes into his rap battle background. Meek also mentions that he would want $100,000 to step back into the battle scene (which was reportedly already set to take place against battle rapper, DNA). But some media outlets interpreted his answer wrong and credited him as saying that he would want to battle either Cassidy or Murda Mook. Cassidy heard about the rumors, too, and over the weekend, he jumped on the radio with Hot 107.9 and accepted the offer to battle Meek Mill. Check out what he said below: “If it came down to do a battle thing, I would love to do that. Cause it’ll be beneficial. I would get some credibility for biting somebody head off, and I’d get a nice little check out of it.” Cassidy seemed to have to whole fight planned out, from getting it on Pay-Per-View to getting sponsors to come in and pay that “chicken.” Apparently that’s a new slang phrase out of Philly meaning money. “We definitely can get a nice crowd, get some crazy sponsors and get some chicken up. So it’ll be beneficial for me to do something like that.” Did Cassidy imply that he would bite Meek’s head off in a battle? Meek heard Cassidy loud and clear and took to his Twitter to let Cassidy know he has to get his weight up before he can step into a battle with him. Well, it looks like those battle plans are on hold for now. I for one would love to see this battle go down, but Meek is right – he has nothing to prove and is busy getting “arena” tour money. Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Kanye West Enlist George H. W. Bush For “Cruel Winter”?!

I think we are all pretty convinced that there will in fact be a Cruel Winter G.O.O.D. Music compilation album coming our way. For those who still don’t believe, in typical Yeezy style, a short trailer was just released entitled “Kanye West/Cruel Summer”.  The trailer is less than a minute long and shows a forest with bare trees in the winter, along with images of a pond, leaves, and tree branches. What’s interesting is the voiceover in the teaser is voiced by former U.S. President George H. W. Bush. In fact, it’s a speech called “New World Order” that Bush gave in 1991 about the Gulf War. Check out part of the speech below: “We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a new world order. A world where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this new world order.”  This is all pretty weird considering Kanye’s past with George H. W. Bush. Bush has even said that his worst moment in his presidency was when Kanye said he “doesn’t care about Black people.” I guess Yeezy found some inspiration in the speech. Hip-Hop Rumors: Was Meek Mill “Violated And Harrassed” By Philly Police?

Earlier this week, Meek Mill was detained by the police in Philadelphia as he was on his way to his album release party for his debut album, “Dreams and Nightmares”. The MMG rapper was ironically wearing both a Rolex watch and handcuffs, a replica of his album cover. I guess Meek Mill really does live this life. Meek took to his Twitter page and blasted the Philadelphia police department for violating and harassing him for being “famous.” Check out his tweets below: MTV RapFix got an exclusive comment from Philly police, who say it was just a “normal” case. “He was stopped in a vehicle but was not arrested. He was only detained in a substation. Hip-Hop Rumors: Yo Gotti Responds To Gucci Mane’s Taunts

I’m not calling Gucci ‘Gucci Mane’ anymore, I’m going to start calling him the Mad Gucci a.k.a. The Mad Rapper. In the words of the Clipse, “What happened to that boy?!” Ever since he was released from jail for throwing a woman out of a moving vehicle, Mad Gucci has been on a rampage and has gone after everyone from T.I. to Nas. In a recent interview with HOT 107.9, Gucci calls both Frenchie and Nicki “fake,” and says that they just want to be famous. Gucci feels like he deserves more credit from Nicki Minaj. Say what?! Check out what he said below: “When she came to Atlanta she gave me a shout out, said I helped her in her career, but at the end of the day I just think a lot of times you keep it real with somebody, you can’t expect them to keep it real with you.” “I told you man this industry, people want to be famous, people forget how to keep it real and forget the people that helped them get to where they at.” “I tip my hat to Nicki for being hard worker, but at the same time, she know she didn’t keep it real.” Gucci did not go into details regarding what exactly happened between him and French Montana, but he did offer his thoughts on French and said that he doesn’t “keep it real.” So I guess Gucci is the only person that does keep it real…right! During the interview, Gucci also explains his issues with Yo Gotti. Gucci revealed that he was upset with Yo Gotti because he dropped his mixtape on the same day as him, and he thought they were supposed to be boys.
