What’s so cryptic about it? Well, this either means that this will be Meth’s last album period, OR just his last album with RZA handling production. Neither has been officially confirmed, so for now, let your imaginations run wild. All that really matters is that we’re about to (hopefully) get an incredible Meth album (finally). …BUT HE WASN’T CHARGED OR ARRESTED!!! Some major “wows” and “how’d you do thats” are in order for Mr. Freddie Gibbs, who recently traveled with two bags of weed with him on a flight. BUT! A) Why are you traveling on an airplane with weed? Isn’t that what you pay people for? and B) The fact that you somehow got to keep the weed is applause-worthy!! TSA, FAIL on your part! We definitely don’t want to see another rapper catch a charge or get locked up, BUT come on! Did you really not think this was going to come back and bite you in the *ss? Now, we’re not leaving it at that. Freddie, as much praise as we’re giving you right now…REALLY?!! You got away with a pretty big crime, and then you tweet about it??? Gil Scott-Heron Memoir Set For Release on M.L.K. Day 2012

(AllHipHop News) Musician, poet, and author Gil Scott-Heron’s post-humous memoir, The Last Holiday, will be published by Canongate on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, January 16, 2012. The decision to release The Last Holiday on that day is no coincidence. According to The Wire, Heron’s civil rights activism is chronicled in the memoir, as well as a number of his greatest memories. Such memories and topics include touring and performing with Stevie Wonder in the early 1980s, his relationship with John Lennon, his participation and  association within the civil rights movement, and much more. Gil Scott-Heron passed away in May 2011 at the age of 62. His final album, I’m New Here, was released in 2010 to critical acclaim. Bangladesh stopped by a number of shops on La Brea Blvd., as well as the Melrose and Beverly Center Malls.
