Kehlani Shares New Emotional Single “24/7”

Lani Tsumani is back! This time she’s letting it all go on her latest single 24/7. After the fiasco of a possible unfaithful love triangle between Kehlani, Party Next Door, and basketball player Kyrie Irving, and a suicide attempt posted on social media, Kehlani seems to have been on an emotional roller coaster.  And she hasn’t said much in response to all the controversy.  But she premiered a new hair do this week, in which she cut off her dark locks, and transformed into a short, sleek honey blonde. So maybe the haircut gave her the liberation she needed after all of this. In this latest song, produced by DZL, she shares deep messages and emotions.  It seems like shes not holding anything back for anyone, and she encourages “it’s alright to not be alright to search for your light.” Check out Kehlani’s 24/7 below. Zoey Dollaz Turns Up On “Couches”

Miami emcee, Zoey Dollaz released his first single after signing to the FreeBandz label. Last month, he inked the deal and now he’s out to join the rest of his labelmates as turn up gawds.  The single, “Couches” plays as the perfect anthem to eff the club up.  The track opens with the Rick James skit from the Dave Chappelle Show, then transforms into a blend of piano, brass, and hard beats, put together by producer Jahlil Beats, Meanwhile, Zoey proves he can write a good hook and meets the hard hitting beat with some hard hitting bars.  He’s proving he deserved that spot on FreeBandz. We’ll see what else he has in store. Joey Fatts and Vince Staples Make a Statement in Farrakhan Visuals

Cutthroat Boyz, Joey Fatts and Vince Staples, make a statement in their visuals for the banger “Farrakhan.” In the video, Fatts gets profiled and chased by police officers after a corner store run.  He tries to escape and hide but eventually gets caught.  Vince, who was also at the corner store, was dressed in a suit rather than your typical quick errand outfit consisting of a tee shirt and sweats.  He was basically invisible to the police while they instead chased the more threatening looking brother. But the twist comes in the end when Fatts gets his revenge on the cops that harassed him. This seems to be a good year for the California MC, Joey Fatts.  In March he dropped his I’ll Call You Tomorrow tape and has been assisting with producing some material with Curren$y and A$ton Matthews.   Hope he keeps it up.

D.C and Chicago rap come together as Shy Glizzy enlists G Herbo for his latest track Too Far.  Produced by Goose, Shy Glizzy uses the thunderous beat to rap about his boss status. “Ok I’m with a sexy b#### and she come straight from D.R/Living on that Sunday, bottles glow in the dark/My youngest underage, they don’t ask them for no card/Walking with that pocket rocket right in my sock/Gotta watch out for the b###### tryna show fake love/Bet you be liking Pixar all of the fake thugs/Watch out for them snitches tryna be cool in the club/How you talking bout all these drugs and you never met the plug now/They like what’s up jefe, I’m like little n—a who you?/I’m a big dog and you little n—as poodles/I done came too far, I’m in meetings with Lulu/I ain’t going back to eating oodles and noodles,” Shy Glizzy raps. G Herbo gets on the track ready to prove that he is a valid contender in this rap game, despite his age. He talks on his upgrade from a life in the streets of the Windy City to nights enjoying lavish lobster dinners. Does this mean Shy Glizzy is working on another project or was this just a loose track set free? Too early to tell but until then bump Too Far below. Bas and The Hics Have No Worries in Visuals for “Matches”

Bas and The Hics cruise with the top down for the visuals for Matches.  After the success of his Too High to Riot EP, Bas continues to prove he is Dreamville’s next champ. Directed by Doubiago Bishara and Nelson G. Navarrete, Matches shows Bas and The Hic’s It’s as if they have no worries, especially towards darkness of the world. As they cruise around town, they seem unbothered by the dark shadows that lurk in the city around them.   Instead, Bas laughs them off and raps about lost loved ones and his people coming together, holding nothing back. Bas and The Hics have been friends for a while before the music.  So it was natural to collaborate with them for this hit.  Together they create an interesting vibe and look like they have a lot of fun.
