Kanye West Is Finally Going On Tour For ‘The Life Of Pablo’

Last night, Kanye announced that he is currently preparing to go on tour for his latest album The Life Of Pablo. According to Complex, the rap star ended up tweeting about “working on his designs” for the upcoming tour after thanking everyone for making his seventh album “No. 1 in the world.” Although Ye dropped the major news this morning, he has not released a set of scheduled release dates yet. Only time will tell when we see where the rapper will be going visually with his tour. The Life Of Pablo was recently made available for Apple Music and Spotify streaming services.

Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ On Pace To Become The First #1 Album Off Mostly Streaming Totals

(AllHipHop News) Just yesterday it appeared the Big Sean/Jhené Aiko joint effort Twenty88 or the Lukas Graham self-titled project would be headed to the top of the album chart, but it now appears Kanye West could be coming in for the steal. HitsDailyDouble reports Mr. West’s The Life of Pablo could total enough streams to earn a #1 placement. TLOP would be the first LP to land at #1 off nearly no sales. The album did have close to 90 million streams since it was released on platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify last week. Originally, TLOP was available for streaming on just Tidal where it was reportedly listened to over 400 million times, but those numbers were never officially released to Nielsen SoundScan. Ye’s latest collection is still only available for purchase on his website. However, there have been very few actual sales of the album. In 2014, Billboard adjusted its calculations for the 200 album chart by adding streaming numbers. Every 1,500 streams now counts as 1 album unit (streaming equivalent albums). The 90 million streams of The Life Of Pablo would equal to about 60,000 SEAs. At the moment, 60K looks to be enough to give Kanye his 7th overall #1 album and a place in history. Songs From Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ Streamed Over 400 Million Times On Tidal

(AllHipHop News) While some observers question whether Tidal’s accounting for the number of streams for Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo is accurate, the entertainment platform continues to make huge announcements about the project. Tidal initially declared TLOP was streamed 250 million times in the first 10 days, and now new numbers come close to doubling that total. Those numbers are likely to increase rapidly in the coming days since Pablo is now available on other streaming services besides Tidal. The Life Of Pablo is also available for purchase for the first time. In addition, the single “Famous” is being released to radio as well. Listeners should expect more changes, because Kanye has described TLOP as “a living breathing changing creative expression” where the production, mixes, and track list for the project evolve over time. Tidal has attempted to separate itself in the highly competitive streaming marketplace by offering its users exclusive content. Besides Kanye’s The Life Of Pablo, the service also exclusively premiered music projects like Rihanna’s Anti, Lil Wayne’s Free Weezy Album, and Big Sean & Jhené Aiko’s Twenty88 as well as programs such as Money & Violence and Cipha Sounds’ The No Small Talk Comedy Series.
