EXCLUSIVE: CASSIDY SAYS MEEK MILL DOESN’T “DESERVE” A DISS RECORD FROM HIM

(AllHipHop News Feature) Philadelphia rappers Cassidy and Meek Mill have been engaged in a war of words on Twitter for the past few weeks, stemming from what might be considered a “phantom” offer to battle each other in the rap battle ring.

Their Twitter beef was put on wax when Cassidy released a song called “Diary Of A Hustla” recently that many people felt was a diss records toward Meek Mill. No so, according to Cassidy.

“That record was called ‘Diary Of A Hustla,’ I didn’t put that out as a diss record, but because we were going through the Twitter beef a couple of hours before I put it out, everybody called it a Meek Mill diss,” said Cassidy from the AllHipHop.com offices in Newark, NJ. “But that record wasn’t directed at Meek Mill’s; it was just a general rap.”

In an exclusive interview with AllHipHop.com, Cassidy made it clear that although he and Meek Mill have been stirring up Twitter with their back and forth rhetoric, Mill has yet to say anything disrespectful enough to warrant a diss record from him.

“If I do a diss record to Meek, it’s going to be on the ‘Ether’ level, if not worse. It’s going to be direct; you won’t have a hard time figuring out who I’m coming at. But I didn’t feel as though enough was done for him to deserve a diss record yet. He’s going to really have to get out-of-pocket, put me in a song or say something crazy to get a diss record.”

Warned Cassidy, “I would advise him not to do it, because if he jumps in the ring with me, it’s going to be problems. He knows what I’m capable of, and he knows how I get it in, so I don’t blame him for backing out. If I was him, I would have backed out, too.”

Watch the full interview with Cassidy below, where he warns Meek Mill to back down or “get his head cut off,” as well as reveals that he texted with Meek Mill and tried to dead the beef when it first ignited a few weeks ago:
