(AllHipHop News) As Grammy award-winning rapper T.I. shops his Grand Hustle imprint for $75 million dollars, and while he’s been filming his top rated VH1 show with his wife Tiny, T.I. also been steady at work developing his AKOO Clothing Brand.
Now in roughly its fifth year of operation, tomorrow (April 3) AKOO is teaming up with Hennessy and VH1′ Black Ink Crew to release his Summer collection as the Black Ink Crew prepares for their second season on VH1.
The showroom will also feature a live performance by Driicky Graham as he introduces his new song ” I Do This” and also performs his RIAA Certified Gold selling “Snap Back & Tattoos,” which eclipsed 800,000 digital downloads.
AKOO, which stands for “A King of Oneself,” seeks to display a unique sense of elusive style that is versatile to one’s own lifestyle and as such uses the fox as its logo, and as a character on its clothing.
In building his brand, T.I. has sought to offer the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship by developing unique prints and fabrics like denim with custom embroidery, leather jackets, detailed sweaters, lightweight yet durable tees, as well as button downs and polos.
