(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar did not hold anything back on his latest verse off Big Sean’s “Control (HOF).” The TDE emcee took a huge step forward in claiming the “The Greatest of His Generation” title by telling several of his peers that the only ones in his league right now are rap veterans Jay Z, Nas, Eminem, and André 3000. He also caught people’s ear when he even claimed that he is “The King of New York.”

In what may be the verse of the year already K-Dot spits:
I’m usually homeboys with the same n*ggas I’m rhyming with
But this is Hip Hop and them n*ggas should know what time it is
And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay Electron, Tyler, Mac Miller
I got love for you all, but I’m tryna murder you n*ggas
Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n*ggas
They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you n*ggas
It seems Kendrick’s message was heard loud and clear, because a few emcees took to Twitter to respond.
