YASIIN BEY TO PRESENT NEW MUSIC AT “TIME IS ALWAYS NOW” EVENT

(AllHipHop News) Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) has announced he will be celebrating the birthday of legendary boxer and activist Muhammad Ali with a special live performance from Africa. The Time Is Always Now event will showcase exclusive new music from the veteran entertainer on Friday, January 17th at 5:30 p.m. EST.

Bey’s A Country Called Earth art collective is spearheading the Time is Always Now campaign. The Ali-focused event is the first in a series of live streams from Africa. The location for the initial show along with more details about the entire Time is Always Now program will be revealed at a later time.
