(AllHipHop News) For a minute it appeared Sean Combs was taking it back to 1997. In the video teaser for his new single “Big Homie” featuring Rick Ross and French Montana, the man who has gone by Diddy for several years reintroduced himself as Puff Daddy.
While some outlets ran stories suggesting Combs was now performing as Puff Daddy once again, the Bad Boy Entertainment founder took to Twitter to make it clear he will always be Puffy, but his professional moniker is still Diddy.
For the record, I did not change my name. I always have been and always will be PUFF DADDY! 🙂 Be cool Man lol #MMM #BigHomie RT!!!!

It was Puff Daddy that released the 7x platinum No Way Out album in ’97. Diddy’s last LP was 2010’s Last Train to Paris. His next album MMM is set for release later this year.
