(AllHipHop News) Joey Bada$$ and Troy Ave appeared to have gotten into a social media spat this week. Joey commented on how his record sales makes him the “#1 independent Hip Hop artist/brand in the world.” Troy took issue with Joey’s tweets and fired back at the Pro Era member by calling Bada$$ “fake independent.”

News of the two Brooklyn rappers subliminal Twitter exchange spread around the Internet. But Joey returned to his account to address the talk of any “beef” with Troy. The “Paper Trail$” performer claims there are no issues between the two, at least not on his end.
