AllHipHop.com spoke with Romeo on the red carpet at the premiere for Growing Up Hip Hop. The creator of the forthcoming Fighting Monsters album spoke about his turn in the third installment of the Jarhead film series.
“I just got the lead role in seven films. I got Jarhead 3 coming next year,” Romeo announced. “We’ve been keeping that under wraps. I’m the lead in the new Jarhead.”
After appearing in previous movies such as Jumping The Broom and Madea’s Witness Protection, Romeo is also slated for the 2016 horror flick Little Dead Rotting Hood. A comic series is in the works as well.
Even with all of his individual success, Romeo still remains close with his Southern rap legend father Master P. But according to the younger Miller, the “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” rhymer does not view his children as his friends. It is strictly a father-son relationship.
“My pop’s main rule is he’s our parent, he’s not our friend,” revealed Romeo. “We don’t even talk about dating. I’ve probably talked about girls with my pops maybe once or twice.”
Romeo Miller’s Fighting Monsters is scheduled for release on January 7. Growing Up Hip Hop premieres January 7 at 10 PM on We tv. Master P’s Family Empire airs Saturdays at 8 PM on Reelz.
