A TRIBE CALLED QUEST DISCUSSES PHIFE’S DEATH

(AllHipHop News) A Tribe Called Quest issued a statement regarding the passing of group member Malik “Phife Dawg” Taylor.

The Hip-Hop community is mourning the sudden death of Phife, who died on March 22, from complications relating to diabetes.

“Our hearts are heavy. We are devastated. This is something we weren’t prepared for although we all know that life is fleeting. It was no secret about his health and his fight. But the fight for his joy and happiness gave him everything he needed.
