(AllHipHop News) Frank Ocean is on pace to earn his first #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.
According to the publication, the “Nikes” singer’s sophomore studio album is looking to collect between 225,000 – 250,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
Channel ORANGE, Ocean’s previous LP, opened at #2 with 131,000 copies. The project went on to be certified gold by the RIAA and won the Grammy award for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
I Told You by Tory Lanez is the other major R&B/Hip Hop album released last week. It has been reported the LP is expected to move 35,000 – 40,000 sales plus streaming units.
