(AllHipHop News) Lil Yachty and Mike Will Made-It will recreate a hip-hop classic during a performance at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
The buzzing rapper and the super producer are linking with Carly Rae Jepsen, to rework Rob Bass and DJ E-Z Rock’s classic “It Takes Two.”
The collaboration will air during extended commercial television breaks, which will be sponsored by Target.
In the spot, Carly and Little Yachty take over a Target store “as it becomes a product-filled playground.”
“Music has always been a powerful way for us to connect with our guests,” said Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Target. “This spot captures the fun of a Target run, the only place where you can stock up on groceries and find the perfect bathing suit, against the backdrop of an unexpected remake of ‘It Takes Two.’ We couldn’t think of a better place to share it than during the GRAMMYs, music’s biggest night.”

Lil Yachty and Carly Rae Jepsen’s remake of “It Takes Two” will debut on streaming platforms on February 10th.
Their performance of the extended commercial will air during the Grammy Awards on February 12th.
