Chance the Rapper and The Bulls Hustle Up Millions For Students In Chicago

CHANCE THE RAPPER RAISES ANOTHER MILLION FOR CHICAGO STUDENTS READ MORE!

(AllHipHop News) Chance the Rapper continues to give back to students in Chicago, thanks to a new initiative he announced earlier today (March 31).

Chance has raised another $1 million through a partnership with the Chicago Bulls for arts programs at educational institutions in Chicago.

The 23-year-old rapper hosted a press conference at Paul Robeson High School to announce the New Chance Arts & Literature Fund in partnership with the Children’s First Fund.

“It is my job just as who I am to bring light and attention to public school funding, broken formulas and especially how it affects my hometown where there’s 90 per cent minority students,” Chance said. “We all individually play roles in the betterment of kids of Chicago and it’s an on-going conversation of the detriment of Chicago, but we can all really get involved here.”

Earlier this month Chance donated $1 million to Chicago Public Schools after a tense meeting with Illinois governor Bruce Rauner.

According to reports, Chance has already raised almost $2.2 million for school in the Chicago area.
