(AllHipHop News) Troy Ave raised a few eyebrows when he compared himself to Tupac Shakur during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club.
“It’s the second coming of 2Pac. It’s ‘new Pac.’ I go do shows, everything’s different,” said Troy.
He later added, “I didn’t say I’m the new Pac. I said the feeling is like on some Tupac sh-t.”
However, the NYC rapper upped the 2Pac ante when he posted cover art for a new project titled NuPac featuring images of Troy and Pac in similar situations.
During his The Breakfast Club sit down, Troy Ave also discussed how he supposedly helped fellow Brooklyn native Casanova from being harmed at an event.
“I saved Casanova’s life one night at a pool party in Long Island,” claimed Troy. “I saved son’s life that night. If he ain’t a fraud, he’ll tell you.”
Casanova fired back at Troy on his own IG page over his street tales and “New Pac” claims.
“NEW PAC ??MORE LIKE THE NEW SOULJA BOY ??YOU MAKING ME SHLEEPY,” wrote the “Don’t Run” performer in a video caption.
The clip was a play on the #SouljaBoyChallenge as Casanova clowned Troy over his story about how he was shot last December.
Casanova is connected with currently incarcerated podcast host Taxstone.
Tax is alleged to be involved in the 2016 New York City shooting which left Troy Ave injured and Ronald “Banga” McPhatter dead.
