Rapper Albee Al Arrested For Attempted Murder In New Jersey

Albee Al’s come up in the hip hop game has been derailed over a shooting in New Jersey.

(AllHipHop News) Over Labor Day weekend, Albee Al turned himself in to the police.

Based on an investigation, Albee Al turned himself in over a double shooting that took place in the Wall Street Passaic area.

One of Albee Al’s associates, a man named Darnell R. Reeves, was also busted over the gunfire.

The shooting occurred on August 23, leaving one 34-year-old male Paterson resident with a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.

Another 30-year-old male Paterson resident was shot as well.

Authorities revealed Albee Al, real name Albert Robinson, was charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose.

Reeves was also charged on the same counts.

Albee is looking at 10 to 20 years in New Jersey State Prison with 85% of the term to be served before parole, with another five years of supervised parole.
