Singer and producer Scholar just recently unleashed his visual accompaniment for “Abstract.” As the first track from his forthcoming debut Directors Cut, Scholar explained,
“Abstract” captures the beauty in our differences. “Abstract is a celebration… it’s an ode to being unique.”
Taking cue from the song for the video, Scholar induces the video with a series of conceptual cuts spliced together that serves as the singer’s background before a spotlight and a horn section turn the whole thing on its head. When asked about the upcoming project, he added,
“Director’s Cut serves as my voice—visually and musically. Two of my passions and talents merged into one. I’m excited to share this chapter of my artistry to the world.”
