AllHipHop.com got a chance to catch up with up and coming Philly artist Warchyld. Unlike many artists on the indie, war was able to land promo deals with major urban clothing lines. Pelle Pelle is amongst the designers.
“Pelle Pelle checked me out and loved what i had going on.”
says Warchyld. He was even featured in the cypher commercial the brand put out for there summer/spring line for 2015.
Warchyld also talked about his record and official video for his single “Rock & Roll” featuring hardcore hip hop legend Styles P. “styles is a super dope dude. P did a lot for me..he actually directed my video. That was his choice and I didnt ask him to he was just like “i got you.”. He explained how Styles P was a genius at directing and not just at rhyming.Warchyld is expecting to do major things on the underground circuit and possibly in mainstream street hip hop. Look out for his future project Save Your Wordshosted by Power 99 Philly DJ Cosmic Kev due out later this year.
