AllHipHop EXCLUSIVE: Wack 100 Explains How He Stopped The War Between Game And 50 Cent

If Jeezy and Gucci can set aside their differences after such a violent feud, would it be possible for Wack 100 to get 50 Cent and Game together to do a Verzuz battle and squash their long-standing beef in public? 

According to Wack 100, the scenario is not as far fetched as some people on social media might believe.

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland did what many thought was improbable when they managed to get Jeezy and Gucci Mane to take each other on during an amazing Verzuz battle on November 19th, 2020.

The pairing was wondrous, due to Jeezy and Gucci’s deep catalogs but also because the two Trap music pioneers were involved in a deadly quarrel that spanned almost two decades.

Jeezy was accused of sending armed men to rob and kidnap Gucci, who responded by shooting and killing one of his assailants in May of 2005. Gucci eventually escaped a murder charge, due to lack of evidence. 

50’s feud with Game was just as deadly as the Jeezy/Gucci situation.

50 Cent kicked Game out of G-Unit in February of 2005 during an interview with Angie Martinez on Hot 97. Not even thirty minutes later, a man affiliated with Game was shot outside of the famed radio station. 

On March 9th, 2005 (to mark Biggie’s death), the pair attempted to call a truce at The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture during a press conference when they made a $250,000 charitable donation to the Boys Choir of Harlem.

The following month, the pair held a press conference on the West Coast and they both gave a total of $200,000 to the Compton Unified School District’s arts and music program.

At the time, Game was managed by Czar Entertainment, the management company once helmed by James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond. Despite the calls for peace, the feud raged on. 

There were fights, stabbings, and shootings. 

Things reached. a head when Tony Yayo smacked Jimmy’s young son as he walked to his dad’s office. 

Jimmy retaliated by ordering the murder of 50’s friend Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher, who was supposedly with Yayo when the youngster was smacked up. 

In August of 2016, after years of beefing, Wack 100 was instrumental in calming the bi-coastal dispute and bringing peace between the two men. 

Wack took time to recall his role in squashing Game’s beef with 50 Cent and G-Unit.

“I mean you gotta understand with any war comes peace eventually and a lot of wars are the fault of men’s egos, the onlookers and the little fires being started,” Wack 100 told AllHipHop.com. “I think it was a misunderstanding that spiraled out of control. Once I was able to speak with 50, and speak with Game and put them together to speak; me and Monster [50’s head of security] supervised that…it was no tension”

“They sat there and wrapped their arms around each other and whispered in each other’s ear, head nodded and laughed and giggled and shook each other’s hands as if nothing had ever happened…”

Nobody knows what could have been with an East Coast and West Coast G-Unit alliance. 

After the split, Game continued to churn out hit albums with Dr. Dre, as did 50 Cent. And both men pivoted into other lines of businesses, from liquor and cannabis to movies. But Wack 100 said that a lot was lost on both sides, from both a music and business perspective.

“This thing called media, it does evil things, but us as the originators to this s###, we gotta maintain control of these situations so the fire doesn’t blaze out of control,” Wack 100 told AllHipHop.com. “Ain’t nothing wrong with a fire but we are supposed to contain it so that we can put it out. Because we f##### up a lot of good years brother. G-Unit’s music, Game’s music, 50’s music you know what I mean? 

Wack 100 said the feud between 50 Cent and Game spiraled out of control because of Jimmy Henchman’s decisions. In 2009, Henchman oversaw Game’s “G-Unot” campaign in an attempt to destroy 50’s brand. 

Jimmy Henchman, who was convicted of running a drug enterprise and murdering Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher, is serving life-plus 30 years.

“The G-Unot movement destroyed a lot of s### over there. 50 with his movement blocked a lot of things. You know both sides felt it, believe it or not.  If we could have eliminated that and continued to grow with one another, who knows what it would have been today,” Wack 100 told AllHipHop.com.

According to Wack 100 part of the problem at the time was that Game’s management was based out of New York and there were some conflicts of interest. 

Most importantly Wack explained that at the time, Game’s camp struggled with leadership.

“He had a lot of internal s### going on there too because at that time Game’s management was New York-based and then you got the internal New York s### going on,” Wack 100 explained. “Then he’s managing this dude who’s beefing with this dude so, it’s the blind leading the blind. It’s a lack of leadership you know what I mean? The biggest leader was Game and he realized that. It was because he realized that, he began to pipe down. The less he said the more it went away.  You know management they wasn’t trying to guide him.”

“Just to clarify, when all that beef started,  that wasn’t on my watch. When I took over the things on my watch I always looked towards correcting it which eventually it got corrected. That’s why 50 could see me and he don’t have a problem having a conversation with me because I wasn’t a part of that movement,” Wack 100 said.

Taking pride in his role as Game’s manager, Wack 100 stated he continues to make sure Game is protected and has everything he needs – even if Game is mad at him.

“We gonna continue we brothers, outside of music we brothers so you know and we gonna continue to be that,” Wack 100 told AllHipHop.com. “He’ll tell you… I don’t give a f### if he like me, don’t talk to me, I’m gonna do whatever it takes to make sure he’s right.  Make sure he’s doing the right thing. I’m not here to kiss your ass, I’m not here to be your yes man. I’m here to make sure you’re protected, you’re provided for and so that you are making the best decisions. And if you making the best decisions and you winning means that you gotta be upset and p##### off with me, then f### it, so be it. That’s what a real manager does.”

Hopefully Wack 100 will be able to get Game and 50 Cent together in one room to do a Verzuz battle and formally squash their beef.
