(AllHipHop News) Popular Atlanta DJ William “Fernando” Barnes, aka DJ Nando, was shot and killed early Tuesday morning. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the 38-year-old father was gunned down outside his home in Clayton County.

“Basically, he drove home, pulled in his driveway, someone had been sitting waiting at his house in the backyard and they ran up and shot him once in the head,” said his brother-in-law Richard Hannah.
Police have not provided a motive for Nando’s murder as of yet. Family members do not believe it was a robbery attempt because electronic equipment and cash were left at the scene.
Several members of the Atlanta Hip Hop community issued condolences via social media.
