Benzino & Karlie Redd Speak On “Love & Hip Hop ATL” Restaurant Fight

BENZINO: THERE WERE NO BOTTLES THROWN, FIST FIGHTING, OR GUNS PULLED DURING “LLHA” FIGHT

(AllHipHop News) Last week a fight broke out at the grand opening of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta stars Benzino and Stevie J’s new restaurant. Reports, pictures, and videos of the situation circulated the internet in the aftermath of the melee suggesting that several people were involved.

Benzino says the situation was an isolated incident that started between his ex-girlfriend Karlie Redd and fiancé Althea Hart.

“Everything was sensationalized,” says Benzino. “There were no bottles thrown, no fists were thrown, no guns were pulled out.”

While video taken at the location clearly show Stevie J along with LLHA co-stars Joseline Hernandez and Shay Johnson involved in altercations, Karlie Redd denies she took part in any fight that evening.

“The reality is we are in a time when everyone wants their shine; their few minutes of fame – and I get that, but I assure you I was not involved in any fighting nor was I knocked out,” shared Redd in a statement.
