(AllHipHop News) Chicago rapper Lil Durk (Durk Banks) was arrested Wednesday after police confiscated a .40 caliber handgun from his car. According to the Chicago Tribune, Durk was taken into custody around 3 a.m. and was later charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
The 20-year-old was scheduled to complete his current parole status from a 2011 weapons charge next month. He served three-months at the Vandalia Correctional Center for his guilty plea in that case.
Durk is loosely associated with Chief Keef’s Glory Boyz Entertainment. The pair recently went on tour together along with fellow Chitown rapper King Louie. Durk was also heavily involved in the back-and-forth disses between GBE and and murdered teenage rapper Lil JoJo.
Lil Durk is currently signed to Def Jam Records and French Montana’s Coke Boyz Records.
