FOX News Hosts Joke and Laugh About Ray Rice Assault Video (VIDEO)

FOX & FRIENDS CO-HOSTS JOKE ABOUT TAKING THE STAIRS FOLLOWING RELEASE OF RAY RICE ASSAULT VIDEO

(AllHipHop News) Fox News should have no friends. Earlier today (September 8th) Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade made a joke in reference to the release of elevator footage of Ray Rice’s assault on his wife this past February.

During a segment of Fox & Friends, the hosts read reactions to the newly released elevator footage of Ray Rice’s assault on his wife at Atlantic City’s Revel hotel. Following the last reaction, co-hosts Kilmeade and Steve Doocy mentioned Chris Brown’s 2009 assault of Rihanna and Solange’s elevator fight with Jay Z from this past May. Afterwards, Kilmeade remarked “I think the message is, take the stairs.” The only female co-host, Elizabeth Hasselbeck laughed in response to the joke.

Fox News has not issued an apology, however a spokesperson for the channel informed the Erik Wemple Blog that its hosts will address the comments on tomorrow’s Fox & Friends. Prior to issuing that statement and Rice incurring new penalties, Fox & Friends’ official Twitter account asked fans if the original 2-game suspension was enough:
