Knockout Nation: Timothy Bradley Wants Floyd Mayweather

CHECK OUT WHO’S GOT HIS EYES ON FIGHTING MAYWEATHER

(Knockout Nation) Timothy Bradley has a huge fight coming up against Juan Manuel Marquez. It’s a fight that will undoubtedly put him in the upper echelon of the fictional pound for pound list should he win. Most fighters don’t like to discuss the future but in an upcoming interview with Knockout Nation, Bradley was very candid about his options if he beats Marquez. Well aware that there is a dark cloud hovering over his split decision victory over Manny Pacquiao, many would think that Bradley wants to vindicate himself and prove that he can beat Pacquiao decisively. However, the opportunity to face pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather is a tantalizing dish that Bradley would push aside a Pacquiao rematch given the opportunity.

“You know what? I like both fights,” Bradley said in regards to facing Pacquiao or Mayweather next. “I don’t like to think ahead but let’s say, hypothetically, I beat Marquez. I would love to get a shot at Mayweather before he gets out the game.”

This is all hypothetically speaking considering that Bradley is tied to Bob Arum’s Top Rank Promotions and the cold war between Top Rank and Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions has no signs of ending in the near future. Nevertheless, Bradley’s interest in taking on the best boxer in the business is an chance he’d love to have if there was any way it could happen. Obviously, Bradley would love to rinse the bad taste of the Pacquiao controversy from his mouth, but he figures that facing the Filipino will eventually happen.
