(AllHipHop News) Lil Boosie celebrated his new-found freedom with a press conference today. Of course the subject of music came up, Boosie told the audience that he wrote 1,018 songs while he was locked up, and he has been in the studio every night in preparation for a new album. He also revealed he is reconstructing his contract with Trill Entertainment and is looking forward to his relationship with Atlantic Records.

“My music always been based off telling stories and now I really got a lot of stories to tell about my life, what my family went through, what my people went through,” said Boosie. “I’m more versatile. I’m a better artist and I’m a better person, because I’m wiser and stronger, and I know who’s here for me and who ain’t. When you go to jail you know who real and who ain’t.”

Boosie also addressed how the world has changed since he went into prison. Instagram and Apple’s FaceTime did not exist at the time. The 31-year-old was amazed to discover the ability to video chat via phone.

“I had never seen Instagram. I heard about it,” states Boosie. “I was surprised when I looked on my iPhone and you could look at people and talk on the phone. I wasn’t used to that. I was like, ‘the world done change.'”
