Lil Scrappy Talks Marijuana Addiction, Love + More In Last Interview Before Rehab Stint, Rev Run Calls In

Lil Scrappy is about to begin his court mandated 30 day rehab residence for marijuana addiction after violating his three year probation and failing to provide a urine sample. Before he left, the 29 year old rapper spoke with V103 Atlanta about his marijuana addiction, engagement to Love & Hip Hop costar Erica Dixon and gets a surprise prayer called in.

Scrappy admits he has an addiction to marijuana and states he has been smoking since the age of 12 due to the fact he can not handle stress well. According to the interview, Scrappy smoked marijuana every day and even admits to preparing to smoke once he enters and once he leaves his car. Scrappy also received unexpected words of encouragement from Reverend Run who called into the “Ryan Cameron Morning Show”. After admitting to having his own marijuana addiction that left him in tears, Rev Run gave a prayer to Scrappy which the Atlanta-bred rapper showed immediate appreciation for:

His recent legal troubles were not the only opposition Scrappy was facing entering this interview. His former fiance, Erica Dixon told Mouth To Ears about how she feels Scrappy’s proposal was not genuine.

“I definitely called off the engagement. Clearly Scrappy wasn’t ready. I feel like the whole proposal, at the end of the day, was to save his image. It was all about how he looked to the people.”

In the interview with V103 Atlanta, Scrappy adamantly denied that his proposal was for publicity and even questions Erica’s understanding of love.

Scrappy is due out of rehab at the end of June.
