While stars rule the stage, it’s the people behind the scenes that ensure the show goes on. Held on December 30th, the Houston’s 30 For 30 event brought innovators and tastemakers from various creative fields including public relations, videography, marketing, production and more.
In an effort to honor tastemakers and innovators throughout the city, Queen Bobbi, iYoVisuals and the prestigious Wire Road Studios united to delivered “30 for 30,” a night of celebration of elite creative professionals throughout Houston’s entertainment community.
In addition to lite bites and networking, the event also took the time to recognize industry leaders including 93.7 music director Devi Dev, Barry Coffing of Springboard Festival, celebrated director Mr. Boomtown, who has directed videos for Gucci Mane, Slim Thug, Z Ro, Kirko Bangz, Yo Gotti, Birdman and many more., Swishahouse veteran G Dash and Emmy award-winning engineer Danny Reeves were also honored at the event and are pictured below.
The highlight of the evening came while recognizing LMG CEO D. Will, who was awarded a special plaque in commemoration of the platinum single “Nasty Freestyle,” the result of a collaboration with artist T-Wayne and We Run It ENT. Having inked a distribution deal with 300, the honor served as a testament that hard work does indeed pay off.
