Hip-Hop stars Rich Homie Quan and Trinidad James kicked off the BET Awards Weekend with a red carpet daytime soiree, hosted by (The Ambassador) Earl Stevens Selections and powered by Monster®, inside Cosmo Hollywood to celebrate their nominations this year. The duo were joined by their Think It’s A Game Entertainment (TIG) team and CEO/Visionary FLY, as well as a myriad of celebrity friends including Slim (112), Kevin McCall, Karen Civil, Drumma Boy, Gangsta Boo, Ming Lee, Kenny Kingpin, DJ Vlad, Kataztrofee, Big Pope, (Houston’s celebrity jeweler) Revolt TV’s DJ Damage, Dj Carisma and more.
DJ Jae Murphy (popular on Revolt TV, Skee TV, BET) rocked the packed house with hit after hit including unreleased music from both nominees, while guests sipped on “Function Red” and “Mangoscato” wine samplings from E-40’s Earl Stevens Selections. The celebration marked Rich Homie Quan’s nomination for “Best New Artist” and Trinidad James’ run for “Best Collaboration” with August Alsina for the smash single “I Luv This,” at this year’s BET Awards to be held this Sunday. Lead by CEO and Visionary FLY, Atlanta-based TIG has undoubtedly become one of the leading independent record labels in the music capital of the nation. With a roster of talent starring Rich Homie Quan, Trinidad James, Jacquees and Forte Bowie, TIG has only just begun its rise to worldwide fame.
