(AllHipHop News) Disturbing Tha Peace co-founder Chaka Zulu has been appointed to the role of Vice President of Entertainment and Sports Marketing for Monster Cable Inc.
THR reports that the newly created position is “part of an effort to reinforce the company’s roots in today’s music culture.”
Zulu, who manages both the acting and rapping career of DTP co-founder Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, spoke on his new position and partnership with Monster.
“Monster’s innovation and creativity has always come from a place of true passion for music and for improving music experiences,” he said. “I work with artists, producers and talent every day and Monster is consistent in creating new technologies that benefit the entire music industry.”
“Everyone at Monster is thrilled that Chaka is joining our team,” said Founder Noel Lee. “We share with him a strong passion for both music and technological innovation, and for helping people get closer to all the entertainment they love.”
“This is a major step forward for Monster,” Lee continued. “It will help us make a much closer connection with fans all over the world who want to enjoy all their entertainment in a more meaningful and impactful way.”
Just yesterday it was announced that Grammy Award-winning producer Swizz Beatz had joined Monster Cable Inc. as both an investor and a board member for their creative and marketing team.
Monster, who was initially behind the design, production and manufacturing of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s Beats By Dre headphones, severed ties with Beats Electronics last year.
