(AllHipHop News) We The Best Music recording artist Nino Brown recently spoke to AllHipHop.com, while recording his new single “Nino” featuring “The Boss,” Rick Ross.
Nino’s upcoming mixtape is the follow-up to an earlier project titled “New Jack City.” The rapper, who borrowed his namesake from Wesley Snipes’ legendary character in the 1991 flick, discussed working with Rick Ross on his latest single.
“I been in the studio doing my thing. But one day Ross reached out to me and was like ‘Yo I’m not going to lie, your buzz is so big in the city its only right we do one,” Nino Brown explained to AllHipHop.com. “We get one in. He called me and I was pressed for time. And I just came up with this joint. When you hear it, you’ll understand.”
Nino spoke on his upcoming mixtape “New Jack City 2,” which will feature guest appearances from artists on Rick Ross’ Maybach Music imprint, as well as acts on DJ Khaled’s We The Best label.
“I got some of everybody on there,” Nino Brown told AllHipHop.com. “DJ Khaled’s got some input. He’s directing it because it’s like a movie starring Nino Brown. It’s like a collage of events. Khaled is like a director and I’m the actor.”
