(AllHipHop News) Maybach Music Group rapper Stalley will give back to the community, by headlining a fundraiser/book drive for a local nonprofit aimed at encouraging education.
On December 6, Stalley will head New York, to work with the Scholarich Foundation, which currently runs a variety of afterschool programs for students in the East New York section of Brooklyn.
The Scholarich Foundation is hosting the fundraiser/book drive for middle school and high school students, in need of books and other educational supplies.
The books will also be distributed to juvenile detention facilities around the city, to help promote education to those who have been incarcerated.
In addition to Stalley, a variety of local rappers, artists, singers and educators will be on hand during the book drive, which is also being cosponsored by The Source Magazine.
