(AllHipHop News) James “Lil Henchman” Rosemond is following in his father’s footsteps as a music mogul, with the launch of his record label RoyalDream Music Group.
Rosemond has signed Cincinnati-based artist Lantana, who just debuted on the iTunes with his new single “All Hustle, No Luck.”
Lantana, who was sent to prison four years ago at the age of 19, was released in late 2011.
He focused on his rap career and within a year, Lantana was the “Fan’s Choice” for the 2012 Beats Summer Concert Series with Pepsi. He was also up for five awards at the 2012 Ohio Hip-Hop Awards.
“This kid is raw, his movement and everything that it encompasses is too,” James Rosemond Jr. told AllHipHop.com. “I love it! I co-sign him and what he represents. My father managed and found Game, so It’s only right that I continue the legacy of breaking music deals with the start of Lantana!”
Lantana recently released a mixtape titled “Lantana On The Way” and is preparing a new one titled “All Hustle, No Luck” after his latest single.
“I’m doing it for my people,” Lantana told AllHipHop.com. “I’m the last chance for my people to ever have money if not we going to be in the hood forever.”
Lantana’s upcoming mixtape “All Hustle, No Luck” is due to be released on October 30 on a variety of mixtape websites, as well as iTunes.
