According to Fox 29 News, Meek was in court for a mandatory status hearing, which he must attend every 3 to 6 months, to make sure he is in compliance with the terms of his probation.
The rapper is on probation for a prior drug/gun conviction. According to Fox 29, the judge presiding over the case reprimanded Meek for lyrics on his song “The Ride.”
Meek accuses prosecutors of overlooking his positive contributions to society on the track “The Ride,” in which he labels the D.A. a “b**ch.”
