If R.Kelly has his way, his hysterical “Trapped In The Closet” series may be headed to Broadway! This is all according to the king of R&B himself, who revealed to MTV that he has written 30 more chapters of the series and has shot a movie about the new chapters. “In four weeks I did 30 chapters of Trapped in the Closet. I’m proud of it. I’m very excited about it because it took on a life of its own. It took me over.” R. Kelly revealed the new chapters yesterday in NYC, and says that he has created lots of additional characters to whet the appetites of his “trapped” fans. The next step for R. Kelly is to have his “Trapped In The Closet” series make the leap to Broadway, which is not as huge of a feat as it seems, because he has already received offers from some Broadway big wigs.
