(AllHipHop News) The iconic Hip-Hop group Public Enemy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year, and the native New Yorkers celebrated the accomplishment by headlining a star-studded concert. Luckily for fans the event was captured on tape.
Rebels Without A Pause-The Induction Celebration of Public Enemy Into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame commerates P.E. becoming only third rap act to be enshrined in the prestigious music hall that also houses legendary performers like Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Run-DMC, James Brown, Ray Charles, and Marvin Gaye.
The film was directed by Jason Bergh who also produced the Wu-Tang: Revealed documentary in 2007. Rebels Without Pause was tapped at the West Hollywood House of Blues a few days before the Rock Hall induction ceremony and features appearances by Doug E. Fresh, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Kool Moe Dee, Dee Barnes, Eddie Murphy, Russell Simmons, and others.
Rebels Without A Pause: The Induction Celebration of Public Enemy Into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame will air on Centric June 1st at 10 PM/9 central.
