(AllHipHop News) Rap legend The D.O.C. will celebrate 25 years in the Hip-Hop industry, by reemerging, starting with a high profile interview in an upcoming issue of Playboy magazine.
The legendary rapper/ghostwriter, who has written for artists like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac and Eazy-E, is the subject of an article by Alex Pappademas titled “Ghost in The Machine.”
The Playboy article details the horrific car crash that damaged the vocal chords of one of Hip-Hop’s most unique voices.
The accident came at the height of The D.O.C.’s own fame after the release of his classic album, No One Can Do It Better.
In the Playboy article, The D.O.C. details his upcoming plans, as well as plans to write for new artists, in addition to his discussing his new reality show “HipHop Draft Presents: How I Got My Voice Back.”
The documentary, which will premiere this spring, chronicles The D.O.C. as he goes through an operation to regain his voice.
The exclusive interview with The D.O.C. in Playboy will run in the upcoming April issue, which hits newsstands on Friday (March 15).
