(AllHipHop News) A representative for Drake has denied the rapper was involved in a club altercation, that resulted in the injury of R&B singer Chris Brown.
Reps for Drake issued a statement TMZ.com, in regards to a brawl that broke out between the entourages of Drake, Meek Mill and Chris Brown last night (June 14) at club W.i.P. in New York.
“Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P.,” a rep said. “He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began.”
While the catalyst for the altercation has yet to be revealed, many sources are pointing to tension between Chris Brown, Drake and rapper Meek Mill, over R&B singer Rihanna.
According to reports, all three men reportedly dated the famous songbird at one point or another.
Drake, who was joined at the club by Meek, has denied any wrongdoing in the incident.
“[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property,” the rep added.
A witness at W.i.P. who refused to be identified stated that Meek started the verbal confrontation, which led to Chris Brown being struck in the face with a bottle.
