Scott Storch Confirms Robbery On RapFix Live

Scott Storch Says Celebs Need To Watch Out Because Robbers Are On The Hunt

(AllHipHop News) News broke recently that producer Scott Storch had been robbed outside New York City’s Platinum Studios. The 39-year-old creator of tracks like Lil Kim’s “Lighter’s Up” and Chris Brown’s “Run It!” confirmed on RapFix Live yesterday that the stick-up did take place.

“I was coming out of the studio around like seven in the morning and just unexpectedly, two 7-foot thugs came out of nowhere and bam, they got me… gunpoint,” Storch told MTV’s Sway Calloway. “They said give it up or they was gonna shoot and had the gun like pressed up on me and everything. It was crazy.”

Storch lost a $50,000 diamond necklace, a $50,000 Rolex and an associate’s briefcase containing $5,000 in cash. Storch hopes the incident serves as a warning to other celebrities in NYC for MTV’s Video Music Awards.

“People are on the hunt right now. There’s a lot of chains and watches out there when the VMA’s are on, so people gotta make sure their security is right,” said Storch.
