(AllHipHop News) XXL is teaming with Monster Energy drink to present the “The Energy Outbreak Tour.” The multi-city showcase will feature all of the emcees selected as part of the Hip-Hop magazine’s 2013 Freshman Class.
The final choices for this year’s class were announced late last month. Ab-Soul, Action Bronson, Angel Haze, Dizzy Wright, Joey Bada$$, Kirko Bangz, Logic, Schoolboy Q, Travi$ Scott, Trinidad James, and the “11th Freshman” Chief Keef all made the final cut, and now the rising rappers will join together for a special performance on May 21st at the Best Buy Theater in New York City.

The rest of the tour will have select freshmen at each stop as well as former XXL Freshmen Class alum. For example, Mississippi’s Big K.R.I.T. from the 2011 class will appear at the May 1st show at Philadelphia’s Trocadero Theatre.
The only other date announced so far is a May 18th Nokia Theatre performance in Los Angeles with Black Hippy members Ab-Soul and Schoolboy Q. The L.A. emcees will be joined by New York based rapper Action Bronson.
Additional dates will be announced in the future with more special guests to be included.
Tickets for the Monster Energy Tour will be available through ticketmaster.
