Also, the artist’s name (Anaymous Touch) has you asking “What’s the story behind the name?” We figured, let’s get to the facts and give our readers the inside scoop. We sat down with Anaymous Touch and here is what she had to say about her upcoming new single “Light It Up” (Limen).
AllHipHop: You gotta keep it a bean with us. The artist name is LITTY! What’s the science behind it?
Anaymous: Ayyee! I love the vibes. I gotchu. My artist name is just like my music. It’s a vibe/wave of healing. However you receive the healing, I just want to do my part in aiding in it. In a nutshell, an “anonymous touch” of sublime musical healing. You feel me?
AllHipHop: DEFO feel you. Ok, talk to us. How do you connect with music?
Anaymous: Wow! That’s a deep question. Music goes deep with me all the way back to my original love for performing arts. That’s always been my greatest passion. Dancing, cheerleading, theatrics , etc; I enjoyed it all. During my teenage years my love of writing poetry transformed into writing raps. I LOVE music! It creates, harmonizes, and transforms any atmosphere. Music is healing. Music is free. Music is love. Music is enjoying the journey; with no views of the destination.
AllHipHop: That’s what’s up! Ok, so let’s get to it. How are you about to “Light It Up” in Grim?
Anaymous: Ayyee! Well, I’m pretty sure you know that Grim from the UK has a big influence on NYC drill music. Since NYC is home for me, I gotta stay true to that and the culture. I also wanted to make sure that I kept this record trendy, break some barriers, and really represent the Haitian/Dominican American Goddess in me. So this Grim/drill record def has a Kompa (tambour and conga instruments) vibe to it. Obviously with some scandalous flare, this single is a bop!
“Light It Up” (Limen) is scheduled to be released on 4/21/23 on all DSP’s (pre-sale/pre-save link, https://sndo.ffm.to/ama9e6a ).
