(AllHipHop News) Rapper 21 Savage proved his dedication to the Atlanta community during an event to inspire students.
21 Savage hosted his “Guns Down, Heads Up!” event earlier this week for hundreds of Fulton County students.
During his talk, the rapper drew from his own life experiences, to warn the students about the pitfalls of gun violence and the street life.
“Lot of struggles in my life, I’ve dealt with a lot of the same things you are going through today,” 21 Savage told the students. “Stay out of the way, do the right thing. It’s a sense of calm and it can change your life.”
Despite being a superstar rapper, 21 Savage, real name Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is still facing serious legal problems of his own.
The Atlanta-raised rapper is banned from traveling outside the United States.
The rapper has yet to receive a court date because of a backlog of cases flooding the immigration system.
21 Savage’s lawyers suggest it could be years before his case is finally resolved.
