A Representative
for 50 Cent has announced the platinum-selling rapper will not be attending
the Live 8 Concert slated to take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, due
to a scheduling conflict.
Live 8 is the follow-up
to 1985’s massive concert, Live Aid and organizers have timed the event
to coincide with the G8 Summit in Gleneagles, Scotland.

His publicist said
the movie’s production schedule conflicted with the July 2 show, which
will take place on Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
While it has not

50 Cent.
The concert will
be hosted simultaneously in Philadelphia, Paris, London, Berlin and Rome and
other Hip-Hop acts on the bill include Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, Jay-Z,
Snoop Dogg and Will Smith.
The concert aims to shed light on various humanitarian crises
