50 Cent Reportedly Producing Docuseries About 6ix9ine, Snoop Dogg & More

(AllHipHop News) There were rumors that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson bought the rights to Daniel “Tekashi 6ix9ine” Hernandez’s life story. Apparently, the Power executive producer is really working on something connected to the rapper-turned-government witness.

TMZ reports:

Fiddy’s scripted series will focus on Tekashi, Snoop Dogg, music producer Scott Storch, former NBA stud Rafer Alston and 50 himself. The docuseries is called “A Moment in Time” … and it will have 6 to 8 hour-long episodes dedicated to each subject. Our sources say 50 is framing Tekashi’s story around his brief but controversial rap career.

At one point, 50 Cent publicly endorsed 6ix9ine’s controversial rise in the music industry. The two New York City natives collaborated on the “Get The Strap” single, and Fiddy even referred to the “Fefe” performer as his son.

In response to news that 6ix9ine was testifying for federal prosecutors in the trial involving his former Nine Trey Bloods gang allies, 50 disavowed Tekashi during an interview with The Breakfast Club. Jackson told the radio show, “He’s his mother’s child now. After you do sh*t like that, you your mother’s child. Don’t call me.”

Besides heading up Power, 50 Cent has also produced SundanceTV’s Dream School, BET’s 50 Central, and Crackle’s The Oath. His G-Unit Film & Television company is also said to be creating a series about Supreme Team crime boss Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff for Starz, but there is a dispute over McGriff’s onscreen biography with Murder Inc’s Chris Gotti and Irv Gotti.
