(AllHipHop News) British vocalist Adele was one of the big winners at last night’s 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
The “Hello” singer won three of the “Big Four” awards: Song Of The Year, Record Of The Year, and Album Of The Year.
When Adele took the stage to accept the trophy for her 25 album winning AOTY, she praised fellow nominee Beyoncé’s latest LP Lemonade.
Adele took it even further when answering questions from the press backstage.
“I felt like it was her time to win,” expressed Adele about Bey. “My view is kind of, ‘What the f-ck does she have to do to win Album Of The Year?'”
She continued, “I felt [Lemonade] was – I said it earlier – another side to her that we haven’t seen. I felt blessed to be brought into that situation.”
Beyoncé’s Lemonade did win the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
