Bow Wow is coming

to the WB Network, as the rapper’s half-hour pilot titled “Bow”

has been green lighted. The comedy features Bow Wow playing himself as a rapper

coming of age, attempting to gain control of his business. The show is executive

produced by Teresa Caldwell and Michael Mauldin, father of Virgin Urban Music

President, Jermaine Dupri.

Dame Dash appeared on Funkmaster Flex’s show on Hot 97

yesterday (March 7) to promote Beanie Sigel’s new album, The B-Coming.

Sigel has been in jail in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania since November 8 for gun

possession. Sigel shot several videos for the album before he was incarcerated.

During Dash’s appearance on Flex’s show, the mogul clarified that Sigel

is an artist on his Dame Dash Music Group. The label will celebrate the release

of The B-Coming tonight (March 8) in New York.

Coolio recently spoke about his role in the upcoming comedy,

“Retirement.” The movie centers on four old men who take a road

trip to Las Vegas and make a pit stop in New Orleans. Bill Cobbs has been recast

in Ossie Davis’ role, after the veteran actor passed away February 4,

at the age of 87. "My one regret is that I did not get a chance to work

with Ossie Davis,” Coolio said. “I was really looking forward to

that. My time has been real cool, everyone has shared a lot with me, and I feel

I grow on every picture…and who knows, maybe I taught someone a thing or two."

Coolio will release a new album in 2005.

The producers of
