(AllHipHop News) A number of top Hip-Hop acts will hit the stage in Philadelphia this October, during Power 99FM’s Powerhouse 2010 at the Wells Fargo Center. Popular personalities The Hot Boyz (Mikey Dread and Uncle O) announced that Drake would be the headlining act for the concert, which is slated for October 22nd. In addition to Drake, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Ne-Yo, Jazmine Sullivan and others are slated to grace the stage during the annual event. Tickets for the concert go on sale this Friday (September 3rd) through comcasttix.com. Miami rapper Rick Ross will kick off a weekend of events this weekend in Dallas, Texas in support of “Grambling vs. Prairie View A&M University Weekend.” The friendly rivalry between the Grambling State Tigers and the Prairie View A&M University Panthers dates back to at least 1984. “Dallas, TX get ready because I’m performing live at the Palladium and the game weekend will never be the same,” Rick Ross told AllHipHop.com. The concert, which takes place at The Palladium Ballroom on Friday, September 24th, is being produced by Black Elite Entertainment. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Watch Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which provides eye exams and glasses to children in low income families. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com. Former Flipmode Squad first lady Rah Digga has announced a new deal to release her upcoming album Classic. Rah Digga, who is releasing her sophomore album on the Raw Koncept label, tapped producer Nottz to craft the sounds on Classic. The Newark, New Jersey rapper recently released “This Aint No Kid Rap,” featuring Redman, as the first single from the album. Classic is due in stores September 14th.
