Rocawear was forced
to scrap the name of a clothing and jewelry line called “Rocawear MUSE,”
after a competitor claimed trademark infringement. According to a lawsuit filed
in Manhattan federal court, Rocawear competitor Maggy London International owns
the “MUSE” trademark and has also sold women’s apparel and accessories
as well. Rocawear also inked a deal with Colors in Optics Ltd, a New York based
eyewear manufacturer, who will produce a Rocawear line of sunglasses.
According to sources,
Raekwon has begun recording a sequel to Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, his 1995 album
widely regarded as a classic. WuTangcorp.com reports that the Staten Island
rapper has solicited the artistry of Mobb Deep, Nas, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes,
The RZA, Alchemist and others. Details have yet to be released.

Ol’ Dirty Bastard has been pushed to a later, unspecified date.
Duck Down recently
released a raunchy DVD, "P### N Boots,” a collaborative effort with
New York pornographer Booz. With the song “VIP,” the DVD features
new music from Boot Camp Click as well at studio outtakes from the group. The
party atmosphere is overwhelmingly prevalent as the video features “dancers,
strippers, and groupies.” The video dropped September 7th.
