Master P has commented on a recent arrest and has proclaimed his innocence in a statement. “Black man with gun, white cop panic. I’m a businessman. If the cops stopped panicking for one minute, they would’ve realized that the guns were registered, and that is legal in America,” said Master P. Officers on the campus of UCLA arrested the No Limit Mogul and brother Silkk after a pair of handguns were found in their vehicle. P concluded, “It’s a different way of life for a person of color with money than it is for others with money.”
The Illedeph Roots crew is going to host their second annual pre-Grammy party on February 12 at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles. Jada Pinket-Smith will join in for a three hour live jam session. Some may not know but Pinkett-Smith will rock with her band Wicked Wisdom. The sessions don’t stop there though, because there will be other performances by Kanye West, Jill Scott, Pharrell Williams, Mos Def and other independent acts.
